Traveler: The Third Legend
There’s not an act going right now that’s quite like Lostboycrow, the artist crafts a unique blend of pop/alternative/and R&B while drawing an influence spiritually from Native American culture. He’s somewhat of an odd soul, but that’s what makes him an amazing songwriter and performer. That’s exemplified on his new release, Traveler: The Third Legend. It’s not as good of an EP as he’s had in the past. Save for, “I’m a Sailor Not a Salesman” there’s nothing with a good enough hook to really draw you in and keep you coming back and listening. That said, for people who’ve been listening to Lostboycrow for years, it’s good enough to keep them happy. There’s such a powerful vocal here and the production is outstanding enough for that group to be appreciative for the music. It’s a five song EP that’s strong, but not as strong as his previous releases.
