Megalithic Symphony Deluxe Edition
Awolnation’s Megalithic Symphony will go down as once of this decade’s monster albums. The record put Red Bull Records on the map and after being in three previous highly-notable bands, it put Aaron Bruno on the map as a celebrated musician and true artist. It’s an amazing record and it’s getting a decent rerelease in the form of a deluxe edition that features a number of great remixes as well as bonus tracks that have been featured on soundtracks and compilations over the course of last year. The deluxe version of the album features two discs and more than an hour and a half worth of music to sift through. The original work on the album, all eighteen songs are all amazing. The remixes, including the five different versions of “Sail” range in quality from decent to good. Nothing amazes in that category and some of them fail to hit the mark. Still, this deluxe edition is worth picking up if you don’t have the original album. If you do, you can pick up the unreleased songs individually at a digital provider.
