The Foo Fighters led the rock genre with Five Grammy Nominations, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year. The White Stripes and newcomer Feist scored four nominations apiece, while U2 picked up two nods.

The Foo Fighters led the rock genre with Five Grammy Nominations, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year. The band also announced this week additional tour dates for the previously announced 2008 tour, which has the tour running now through the end of March 2008, with many of the new dates in Canada. Check out the additional dates here. Other bands with considerable nominations are The White Stripes and newcomer Feist scoring four nominations apiece, while U2 picked up two nods. Other nominees include Tool, Paramore, Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, Green Day, Beck, the Shins, Evanescence, Metallica, Queens of the Stone Age and My Chemical Romance.
