Blink-182 offered up a performance of their track “Bored To Death” during a recent edition of Colbert. The new track, pulled from their current album California, features bassist Mark Hoppus on vocals with newest member Matt Skiba on guitar and backing vocals. The performance comes at a busy time for the band, who also recent appeared in a Spotify documentary. Mark Hoppus says that it was important for the band’s legacy for them to continue writing and recording new music. “Legacy is a subject that’s come up a lot in the past few years,” he said in a new documentary through Spotify titled The Drop. “It was crazy important to us that we keep creating new music. We didn’t ever, and don’t ever, want to become a greatest hits band.” Additionally, Hoppus discussed California and what drew the punk band to the state. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com.
