Eddie Vedder surprised fans and shoppers at Seattle's Easy Street Records when he joined the Sonics for an intimate in-store performance on Record Store Day.
"We've got a lot of really important Pacific Northwest talent who are going to come up here," Sonics sax player Rob Lind promised as the show began.
Vedder joined the band for the song "Leaving Here," featured on the Sonics' new LP This Is the Sonics, their first studio album since 1967.
"This has been an unexpected privilege," Vedder said after his song. After his appearance, Vedder joined the rest of the crowd to watch the remainder of the concert.
According to Easy Street's Instagram, while Vedder was celebrating Record Store Day, he also picked up a copy of Citizen Dick's "Touch Me I'm Sick" 7".
