The band will keep playing through May 7th, but will then be off the road for a month. “We’re disappointed to be postponing these dates, but it’s a relief to know the source of the problems I’d been having with my voice,” the artist says in a statement. “And it’s much better to confront it now than later when it could be far more serious.”Shows in Boston (May 18), Providence, R.I. (May 19) and Columbia, Md. (May 28) have not yet been rescheduled. Five June dates in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and California have been bumped to August. Yellowcard has been touring in support of its second Capitol album, “Lights and Sounds,” which has sold more than 2.7 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
