Tom Morello, the guitarist of Rage Against The Machine and Prophets Of Rage, performed a portion of Audioslave's "Like A Stone" as a tribute to his late bandmate Chris Cornell.

Tom Morello, the guitarist of Rage Against The Machine and Prophets Of Rage, performed a portion of Audioslave’s “Like A Stone” as a tribute to his late bandmate Chris Cornell. Morello paid tribute to Cornell on October 1 as he kicked off his solo tour in New York City. Morello is preparing to release his new solo LP titled The Atlas Underground, on October 12. He has currently released two songs from the album. Morello performed the entire album from start to finish during the show. Morello opened the show by talking about his background, his days with Rage Against The Machine and his days studying at Harvard. Meanwhile, Cornell’s estate is set to release a new album Chris Cornell, the 17-track self-titled album and a limited edition 62-track box set, on November 16.
