The Strokes have broke the record for the longest gap between top 10s on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart with “Bad Decisions.” Strokes entered the top 10 of the Alternative Airplay chart for the first time since “Juicebox,” which peaked at No. 9 on chart dated December 17, 2005. “Bad Decisions” is the lead single from the band’s latest album The New Abnormal. It jumped to 10th spot from 13 on the Alternative Airplay tally dated July 4. The previous record for the longest gap in between top-10 singles on Alternative Airplay was held by Social Distortion.
