My Chemical Romance are set to take the stage together for the first time in 7 years, and fans have been lined up outside the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles

Welcome back to The Black Parade. Friday night, My Chemical Romance are set to take the stage together for the first time in 7 years, and fans have been lined up outside the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles hoping to get as close to Gerard Way and company as humanly possible. Early access hasn’t been the only benefit of camping out for the band, as the MCRmy has also gotten to enjoy soundcheck as the group prepares for their return. Expected staples like “Helena” from Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and “Welcome to the Black Parade” from the follow up LP have been heard through the walls of the Shrine, as have later songs like Danger Days closer “Vampire Money” and “S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W.” In all it looks to be a career-spanning set according to reports from the street outside. Fan-shot video shows people literally crying at the return of My Chemical Romance, as they prep for their first show back. The band announced this reunion show in Los Angeles on Halloween, to be followed by 3 dates in Australia and New Zealand, and one show in Japan. Rumors have swirled since that the band might announce a full tour for 2020, with guitar maker Fender further fueling speculation after a visit from Mikey Way and Frank Iero.
