Matchbox Twenty is set to release their first live DVD on May 25th, entitled "A Night In The Life Of matchbox twenty." The DVD was shot in Philips Arena in Atlanta last summer. The DVD also includes a documentary, photo gallery and hidden bonus features.
The DVD is available for pre-order now at the band's official store. You can pre-order you copy now, by going to the band's online store.
This is Matchbox Twenty's first video release since 99, when they released a live concert from Australia on VHS. The video encapsulated the bands ride to the top, which at the time included only the bands first album "Yourself or Someone Like You."
Matchbox Twenty doesn't currently have any plans to start work on a new record, or to tour in support of their new DVD. The members have expressed that they all have interest in pursuing side projects with other bands, or solo-projects. (See Rob Thomas Plans Solo Project) Matchbox Twenty remains one of the few highly successful bands who have retained all 5 of their original members, and plan to re-unite sometime down the road for another MB20 album.
