Iggy Azalea is not a fan of Lorde’s cover of Nirvana’s “All Apologies.” Lorde covered the tune at the band’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in April, leading to the criticism from Iggy. Speaking with Billboard, Azalea said that Lorde is not the “peer” of Kurt Cobain: “Nothing against her, but I think when you’re doing a tribute to someone that’s dead, generally it should be the person’s peer. Lorde is not Kurt Cobain’s peer. No matter if she killed the performance or not, I just don’t think it’s appropriate.” Others to cover Nirvana tunes at the induction included Joan Jett, Kim Gordon and St. Vincent. Iggy had not comment on their performances. Lorde has not responded to the comments from Iggy. Copyright(c) 2014 RTTNews.com. All Rights Reserved
