Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale took to Instagram earlier this week to express her disappointment about the “In Memoriam” segment of the Grammy Awards.
The segment included stars such as Mac Miller, Avicci and Ed King but failed to mention Pantera’s Vinnie Paul and others.
“I am disappointed and disheartened that Vinnie Paul of Pantera/Hell Yeah, All That Remains guitarist Oli Herbert and Kyle Pavone of We Came As Romans were not acknowledged in the Annual Memoriam list this year,” Hale wrote.
“I will continue to be an ambassador for Rock and to fight for the respect that it deserves,” she continued, stating that she believes that the Metal genre “is still not given the respect that it deserves.”
