Alternative trio Greek Fire are thrilled to share a brand new cover of Cyndi Lauper’s hit single “True Colors.” The uplifting and piano-driven take on this classic anthem can be heard now, alongside an exclusive interview, on Substream Magazine. Check out the video on Substream now: Substream Magazine The track will be featured on Greek Fire’s forthcoming album BROKEN, which is due out on February 14, 2019. Fans can pre-order BROKEN, as well as receive an instant grat download of “Just A Little Is Enough,” now on PledgeMusic. BROKEN is the follow up to the band’s latest record, ORIENTATION, which Greek Fire surprise-released last month. ORIENTATION features lead single “The Ride,” and was recently featured on Loudwire. From the din of sweaty rock clubs to the grandeur of blockbuster films, Greek Fire’s ethos and ambition transcend boundaries. Over the years, the St. Louis-based trio (formed in 2008 by singer/guitarist Philip “Moon” Sneed [formerly of Story of the Year], bassist Mark Joseph Roth, and drummer Johnny Venus) have built a reputation for delivering visceral, cinematic rock bursting with soaring melodies and even higher hopes – along with a mesmerizing live show that’s made Greek Fire a worldwide must-see act. “When we started, Greek Fire was my heart and my soul; it was my baby,” explains Moon, who also plays guitar for ska-punk legends Goldfinger. “I wanted to do uplifting, spiritual-rooted things. It was a place I could really use as an artistic outlet for all the things that didn’t make sense with what I was doing in Story of the Year. Since then, Greek Fire has evolved into the sum of the education of all the other projects I’ve been a part of.”
