The Foo Fighters have postponed their 25th Anniversary Tour due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The band's frontman Dave Grohl took to social media to announce the decision to postpone the Van Tour 2020.

"Hi, this is Dave. Remember me? The guy who wouldn't even postpone a show when my goddamn leg was falling off?," Grohl wrote on Twitter. "Well…playing a gig with a sock full of broken bones is one thing, but playing a show when YOUR health and safety is in jeopardy is another."

The artist was referencing the band's 20th anniversary show in 2015 in which he performed despite breaking a leg following a fall from a stage.

"We f----n' love you guys. So let do this right and rain check s--t. The SECOND we are given the go ahead, we'll come tear s--t up like we always do. Promise," wrote Grohl before reminding fans, "Now go wash your hands."

The band announced plans last month to celebrate their 25th anniversary by "hitting the same spots that Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel and Pat Smear trail-blazed in a Dodge van" during their first U.S. tour back in 1995.

The rescheduled Van Tour dates:

12/1 - Oklahoma City, OK @ Chesapeake Energy Arena (from 4/16)
12/3 - Albuquerque, NM @ Santa Ana Star Center (from 4/14)
12/5 - Phoenix @ Talking Stick Resort Arena (from 4/12)
Still to be reset - Wichita, Kan. @ Intrust Bank Arena (4/18); and Knoxville @ Thompson-Boling Arena (4/20)
