After recovering from an extreme mental anxiety attack that hospitalized the band’s lead singer Justin Furstenfeld last fall, Blue October has rescheduled a run of previously cancelled tour dates. The tour which was named the “Pick Up the Phone Tour 2009” was intended to help suicide-prevention services and raise awareness of mental health issues. Furstenfeld, who was hospitalized October 27th, released a prepared statement at the time saying “on the eve of this tour in support of a cause that means the world to me, I am in need of time to heal from a setback in my own personal life, which is severe enough for me to seek hospitalization.
