Blink-182 have released an animated video for their new Christmas track, titled "Not Another Christmas Song."

Blink-182 have released an animated video for their new Christmas track, titled "Not Another Christmas Song."

The band took to Twitter to announce the track's debut and posted a picture of the single's cover.

A couple of days earlier, drummer Travis Barker posted a snapshot of a claymation clip including some festive sounding instrumentals which have turned out to be the opening riffs for the new track.

The lyrics for the track highlight the thoughts of someone who is tired of Christmas and just wants the holidays to be over with.

"And now you're always angry," Mark Hoppus sings amid a mix of expertly placed sleigh bells. "And I'm always saying, 'I'm sorry'/Depression's such a lonely business/Why can't we get divorced for Christmas?"

The band earlier released "I Won't Be Home for Christmas" way back in 2001. The song, which was released as a single then, was later re-issued in 2003 as part of A Santa Cause: It's a Punk Rock Christmas.

Blink-182 released their most recent album, Nine, in September.
