The Alternative Addiction Podcast is back for one more update in June. It’s our third podcast update this month. It’s been a lot of fun putting the show together each time and that’s due in large part to the great music we’ve been able to get for the podcast. This new podcast features lots of great bands.

Polar States: The band members are from different small towns in Northwestern England, but their sound is massive. They just released a new EP called, All You Couldn’t See.

Scarlet Drive: The Western Australia band's music spans several sub-genres in the alternative style. Their latest single is “I Just Think That You’re Cute” and it’s an indie pop gem.

OhHeyMy: My Helmner is the main artist behind OhHeyMy. Her music is pop but it’s not just pop – it does a little bit of everything. OhHeyMy just released a new single called “I Subscribe” but the single she released a couple of months ago is called “Rewind.”

One Life to Lead: Pop punk act One Life to Lead is on the Rad-Pop Records roster and they’ve been featured on numerous Spotify playlists including Pop Punk’s Not Dead. The Maryland band prides themselves on being optimistic with their lyrics and saying something important. One Life to Lead will have a big 2019, and that starts with their latest single, “Losing You.”

Night Cap: Austin, TX band Night Cap blends different influences and tastes of music to create something unlike anything else out there in the current music landscape – their latest single is called “Cheap Thrills."

Council: A trio from brothers from upstate New York, their new single is called, “Born Ready.” The song is tailor-made to be featured on sports broadcasts and is already getting love with some World Cup coverage. Not too bad for a trio of farmers.

The Compound: Canadian trio The Compound just released a new song called “Stand By Me.” It’s a ballad with a catchy chorus that will stick in your head for days.

Ravellas: They’ve been featured by CLASH Magazine, BBC Introducing and a bunch of other various taste makers online and with good cause – their sound is awesome. Ravellas have released one single in 2019 so far and it’s called “Worse Places."
