The WWE network is welcoming back Adelitas Way by choosing hit single “Ready For War (Pray For Peace)” as the theme song for the upcoming “TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs” pay-per-view event on Dec. 4th at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. Showtime is 8 p.m. Eastern, 5 p.m. Pacific. The band has long been fans of and worked with the Sports Entertainment powerhouse – with the song “Invincible” used as the theme song for the WWE “Smackdown vs Raw” video game and the WWE “Superstars” TV show. WWE “The Legacy” TV show used “It’s A New Day” as it’s the theme song. Jonathan Hammer from the WWE network stated “The WWE has a tremendous history of incorporating music within our programming. We look forward to welcoming back Adelitas Way to the WWE family by selecting the song “Ready For War (Pray For Peace)” as an official theme song for WWE’s “TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs” event. Adelitas Way front man Rick Dejesus added: “I am so excited to work with our friends at the WWE again! They have been such a great partner in our career, and the passion they have for music is just unbelievable – we are blessed”. The “Ready For War (Pray For Peace)” single is climbing the charts at Rock Radio, where it moves up to #37 this week. The song can be heard on SiriusXM’s “Octane” channel, the popular “Rock Hard” playlist @ Spotify, and @ Music Choice’s Rock channel. The song debuted @ #1 on Slacker Radio’s “New Rock Now” channel. The band is finishing up their as yet untitled 5th studio album, which will be released in 2017. The band is touring with Scott Stapp in December. Additional tour dates will be announced soon.
