The Indie Song of the Day comes from a new duo out of Connecticut, Tate & Silas.


The Indie Song of the Day comes from a new duo out of Connecticut, Tate & Silas. They feature raw, dingy, grimy rock that's perfect for fans of The White Stripes, The Vines, or anything else that's not overdeveloped and overproduced with today's era of rock.

Tate & Silas' exemplary effort is best shown on their track, "Smashed My Guitar" - they're not perfect, but you can hear how much potential these two dude's have.



Tate & Silas started in 2018 in their hometown of Branford, CT. So far they've released three LPs and one EP. Their latest album is called Third: Nothing to Lose was released on September 20th. The band features Tate Brooks on guitar and Silas Lourenco-Lang playing bass and the kick drum at the same damn time!

Tate & Silas have played some key spots in the Northeast so far in their run, their next big show is coming up on October 5th when they'll be opening up for the Meatbodies and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets at The Space.
