The Indie Song of the Day comes from Orlando band Take Lead. We’re featuring their song “Foul Mouth” that comes off their first EP Runaway. Take Lead started in late 2018 and already they’re taking big steps to be the next big act out of Orlando. They draw inspiration from bands like The 1975, Hippo Campus, and Young the Giant. The band consists of Connor Smith, Nick Cone, Landon Woody, and Shade Eversole. Runaway came out at the end of 2019 and in 2020 look for the band to grow their following around the Orlando area and hopefully – they’ll drop a couple of singles too.
