The Indie Song of the Day comes from Brooklyn-based band Longsnapper. The band is set to release a new EP coming up on 2/29/2020.

The song we're featuring appears on the new EP, it's the first song off the release. It's called "Chili."

Indie-rock quartet Lonsnapper formed in 2017. The band's lineup consists of Steve Olson (drums/vocals), Steve Chan (guitar/vocals), Phil Sepulchre (bass) and Sean Burke (guitar).

The band's upcoming EP Refresh is the follow up to their debut release, Magenta. Most of the songs on the new EP have been played by the band live since the very first Longsnapper show. The band has worked hard at refining them into their final form over the past couple of years. The new EP is an upbeat indie rock effort with elements from influences like Tame Impala, Vulfpeck, and Talking Heads.

Longsnapper will play a release show coming up at C'mon Everybody in Brooklyn on 2/29/2020 as well. Visit Longsnapperbk.com for more info.
