March 23, 2020

The Indie Song of the Day comes from electronic rock duo Lok Stock. From Brighton, the duo featuring Rob Blake and Lewis Whittington are on a mission to redefine guitar based groove-heavy modern rock music. They like to say that if Royal Blood skydived into a post-apocalyptic rave Lok Stock would be the soundtrack.

Blake and Whittington, both music veterans who've shared the stage with world-renowned artists all around the world went back to normal jobs and met on the streets of Bright by chance. Once they met, they started playing for hours straight to create spontaneous street parties.

This past Friday the duo dropped a new single called "New World" - and that's the song we're featuring as the Indie Song of the Day. Unfortunately due to the world crisis the band has cancelled the live shows they scheduled to push the single. but it's still out and available for everyone to listen to.
