The Indie Song of the Day comes from three-piece punk band Backseat Vinyl. From Denver, the band just released a fast, garage-worthy tune with driving music and some melancholy lyrics. It's the first single from their upcoming sophomore album that's set to release in a few months.

The band says, "“Heads is the first single off our upcoming record so we were very nervous on how people would take it. We changed our sound sure, but I also got more personal with the lyrics so it was a little intimidating to release it. I guess it’s just a melt down of one night stands. When you’re laying in bed with a stranger just waiting for the right time to leave because you don’t want to be there anymore. It’s also about being afraid to be alone. Using someone for their company so you don’t have to be in your own.”
