Congratulations on a great solo record, what was it like working on your own, was it a lot different from working with the full band?

"It was grueling. I was going through a depression period, and I was very alone"

Will the Marvelous 3 ever release another record?

"Probably not..."

We are big fans of your work with Injected and Bowling For Soup, what was it like working on projects with those guys?

"Awful... they sucked and were the biggest assholes to work with... I'd rather work with Nickelback than do that again.... I am totally kidding! I love them so much! they were 2 of the best groups of people to work with, and everybody had such a good time. there was no friction or ego, whatsoever. I wish everyone could be as fun to work with... no drama allowed through my doors, yo."

What city is your favorite to play outside of Atlanta and why?

"Probably NYC, Chicago, and NJ, cuz they go off the hinges for me. I love that....sorry... I meant, my ego loves that..."

What's your favorite movie? TV show?

"I don't know. I still hold a couple of flicks dear to my heart: boogie nights, dazed and confused, shine, happiness...."

Planning on any more tattoos? If so, what and where?

"Absolutely... sleeving out my left arm for sure... in fact, Thursday!"

We have all heard rumors that you are writing some songs for Avril Lavigne's next album, is this true?

"No no no.... I was asked by her to go into the studio to record some songs for her next record, I suppose. it was fun. She is such a sweetie!"

All of your work has such a unique sound compared to what is out there today, what artists/bands have you drawn an influence from?

"Evidently, all of the wrong ones. Probably everyone except: black Sabbath, Nirvana, The Velvet Underground, Alice in Chains, and Pearl Jam."

Tell us about the infamous phone message in the middle of the "Ready Sex Go" album, who is that and how did it wind up on the record?

"I think you are talking about Nikki Sixx. He is a great guy, and a legend in my mind. he doesn't remember leaving it, which is the best rock n roll part!"

We all loved the first Marvelous 3 album...but we are all wondering in regards to the last song "Katrina"...were you really stalked by a lesbian?

"No. its a diss to homophobic jocks, who always talked shit about anyone else, and thought they could get any girl they wanted... well.. not all of them, obviously..."

We saw you in Vienna, VA with Todd Wright of the Excentrics, now fronting The Getaway Car. Do you have any plans to play more shows with him?

"I hope so. He is great! his voice is so rich, it has $100 bills flying out of it. He's a talking ATM machine, when he sings."

You have a ton of unreleased songs floating around that we've heard you play at live shows, and you put on such an incredible live shows is there any chance of releasing a live album in the future?

"Yes. I have an acoustic solo performance recorded, that I am trying to get my label to let me release this summer."

It seems like lately you have had a hand in so much, from producing, to writing songs for other bands, have you had any time to write some new music, and are you working on any new projects that we should watch out for?

"Always. I have my next album written and demoed, and I will be doing that record in June. I cant wait. It isn't a rock record. Its just songs. I think I will call it "This is me... tomorrow" by B. Diddy! kidding about the last part."
