Low Millions Explain Their Name

California based rock band Low Millions have just released their impressive debut album "Ex-Girlfriends" and lead singer Adam Cohen recently shed some light on the meaning behind the band's unique name.

"It reflects a condition that anybody at anytime can be in," Cohen explained. "That is the state of being a low million. It's a calling card — there are millions of subscribers in the world and we are certainly one of them at any given moment. The credentials to be part of this group range from stubbing your toe to waking up on the wrong side of bed, to being stuck in traffic, to being an ex — basically being low."

The band's debut album on Manhattan Records has received rave reviews, due mostly to Cohen's clever lyrics and undeniable writing talent.  The hook laiden disc describes the band's collective "ex's".

"It's sometimes embarrassing to talk about how many ex-girlfriends there were," Cohen said. "I would rather talk about that there have been ex-girlfriends and they were remarkable ones. We are in touch with them. It's very positive. We use their names. We aren't trying to protect the innocent. We put their pictures in the packaging. It's also important to note that all of these ex-girlfriends were had within an appropriate span of time — we're not talking about any misadventures here."

The band's frist single "Eleanor" is currently #17 on the Alternative Addiction Top 20.
