We Are Only What We Feel
NoNoNo

American Bang is a band that floats on two sides of rock. They’re concerned about putting on an amazing show and showcasing their art, but then they have a wild-side mentality too. That theme where they can be two things at once is common throughout their debut full album, which ends one of the better debuts to come out this year. The band sits between the ‘artistic credibility’ rock bands out there- where they’re viewed as cool for the quality of their albums- (i.e. Kings of Leon) and the modern rock bands out there who are known more for their singles (think Puddle of Mudd, Shinedown, etc.) That balance between those two styles makes this band captivating AND entertaining. It’s what should draw people to them. There legit in more than one way. This album has good singles that can be played on the radio and the album is a complete album that’s great to listen through from front to back. They have excellent hooks in all of their songs, but they also have long solos and moments where they rock-out like they’re playing live. American Bang is legitimately cool and cool legitimately. They’re definitely a band you want to check out.
