We Are Only What We Feel
NoNoNo

Shawn Fisher used to go under just ‘Shawn Fisher.’ Now he’s switched to a band name… Son of a Bad Man. It’s good for the guys that he plays with and it’s good for public perception. Instead of thinking acoustic singer/songwriter when they see his name on the bill, the public see’s a Son of a Bad Man and their perception is probably a little more accurate. Regardless, Son of a Bad Man makes its debut with a five song EP that’s five songs deep. We’ve heard “Open Your Eyes” and “Let Somebody In” over the past few months on the site and both have made good impressions. Those two tracks showcase Fisher’s ability for writing good pop songs. The other three songs on this EP are impressive too. Look out for “You Got Me” as a lead single if an album from these guys comes to fruition. And although they’re not as good as the previously mentioned three tracks, “Out of Control” and “This is Me” are two fun rock songs with a pop twist. Son of a Bad Man is on to something with this EP and the direction they’re going. It’ll be interesting to see how things develop and if Universal sees enough to let these guys make a full album. Here’s hoping they do.
