You Haunt Me
Sir Sly

Everyone that heard the bands debut full length album was left wanting more, and Something Corporate returns to bring music fans their latest release "North". From the opening chords of this album, fans will immediately recognize the songwriting maturity of lyricist Andrew McMahon. Long gone are the high school punk anthems heard on the first record, making way for more serious deeper lyrics of personal struggles and lost love. However still very prominent is the unmistakable sound of Something Corporate, mixing piano melodies with rocking guitars creating the 'melodic punk' sound that is just as refreshing as it was on the bands first record. The album starts off with the beautifully written ballad "As You Sleep" and then fades into the bands addictive first single "Space" Also noteworthy are the tracks "Only Ashes" and "The Runaway" both perfect showcases of the bands lyrical and musical maturation. "Break Myself" and "I Won't Make You" are also well written perfectly crafted songs that round out a very strong album. All in all, Something Corporate's new record is appropriately titled North, because this will be the record that takes this talented band to the top
