"Raditude" is what you expect a Weezer record to be. Lots of catchy songs; "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To", "I'm Your Daddy", and "The Girl Got Hot" all fit that description rightly. Then there are the curve balls; "Can't Stop Partying", and "Love is the Answer." That breaks down five of the ten tracks. The remaining five can best be described as Weezer album tracks. Enjoyable but not memorable songs that are likable but not lovable. What does set this album slightly above the past few Weezer albums are its cultural lyric references. Mentioning Grey Goose and Vitamin Water among other things in the lyrics is something that comes back as being relatable to fans, even mentioning the shitty economy makes this Weezer record identifiable and significant. The lyrics on this record are some of the best that Cuomo has written and that's what sets "Raditude" apart from the last three Weezer records. It's not in the top tier of the band's albums but it's another good release.
