It should have been called the Leftover EP but instead it's known as No One's First and You're Next. Modest Mouse's latest release is a sample of leftovers- unknowns and B-sides from previous releases and albums. It's not overly impressive content-wise after the first five songs but the first five songs on this EP play like an album that's been released in this generation. And they feel like a Modest Mouse record should feel like. Artistic and jarring, and filled with WTF moments. Still, it's easy to love what you're into when you're into Modest Mouse. And if you've liked any ALBUM that they've released in the past you're bound to find something you like out of this set.
