We Are Only What We Feel
NoNoNo

Cage the Elephant might just be one of my new favorite bands. Their self-titled album is a set that can’t be ignored. The band is kind of like Dinosaur Jr. meets Rage Against the Machine. It’s the Dinosaur Jr. style of rock but it’s been funktafied via Rage. It’s awesome. Their new album is a set that will frequent your ears upon first listen and keep you coming back early and often. Songs like “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked” and “In One Ear” is some of the most original material that we’ve heard with ‘new music’ in a solid 15 years. Maybe some of this builds up into too much but the more you listen the more you acquire it musically. Vocals and music are both simple and complex at the same time and the lyrics are awesome. This is a band you need to check out- like now.
