All Time Low’s “Nothing Personal” blows everything the band had done before the album out of the water. And that’s saying something because I’m a big fan of their EP and their last album “So Wrong, It’s Right.” As far as pop punk bands go there isn’t a lot to hate about All Time Low. The lyrics in their songs are all enjoyable and well thought out. On “Nothing Personal” fans of the band are greeted a better overall package than what they got on the band’s first two releases and Alex Gaskarth’s ability to write a sing a catchy chorus on this album is enough to cement them into an elite group of pop punk bands that are both talented and popular. All Time Low has a pretty high ceiling right now, and this is a great album to really express how high that ceiling can be. Check out “Weightless”, “Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don’t)”, “Hello, Brooklyn”, and “A Party Song (The Walk of Shame)”- and you will get addicted to this record. Some people are going to find this repetitive, but others who are big fans of pop punk are going to be big fans of this album.
