Tonic is another one of those bands that has a legion of devoted fans but might be overlooked by the general population. The band has three awesome members in Jeff Russo, Emerson Hart, and Dan Lavery. The three members are all equally talented in their instruments and in their song writing abilities. The group has churned out a good number of hits and has also put out a number of quality album tracks as well. “A Casual Affair: The Best of Tonic” joins all of the bands hits on one disc and also gives you three solid bonus tracks. Everything that the band did well is here on this set to the praised “If You Could Only See” to the overlooked “Irish.” The track list is awesome from 1 to 12 and then on top of that you get the acoustic version of “You Wanted More” and live versions of “Sugar” and “Irish.” All total this is a great best of set from Tonic, one that they are undoubtedly worthy of.
