While being helmed by an immensely talented musician who is also the son of an icon, Jakob Dylan, The Wallflowers have always been underrated. This new best of set from Interscope proves that. While the hits are there- "Three Marlena's", "One Headlight", "6th Avenue Heartache", and "The Difference"- the songs that are from their later releases like "Closer to You" and "God Says Nothing Back" are more soundly written and even more impressive. The only songs that casuals will listen to are the front four, but everything else on the record including the two previously unreleased tracks are the real treasures on this set. A good collection of songs from a vastly underrated band.
