Ryan Star's "Last Train Home EP" is something to get the music out there. Plain and simple. It's being released because the album got pushed and fans need some music in their 'hands' (it's digital.) The EP is four songs deep with thee of the songs being heard by Alternative Addiction visitors. Still, it's something to keep everybody happy before the album comes out and it does that. Star sings with more passion and more conviction than any solo artist to come out over the past two years and he flat-out rocks. There's a reason "Last Train Home" hung out on the Top 20 singles chart for so long, it's an awesome song. "Right Now", "This Could Be the Year", and "Brand New Day" are also impressive pieces as well. It's not the full album but it's a sample of what's to come later on this summer.
