I know absolutely nothing about The Apples in Stereo, but after listening through their album “New Magnetic Wonder,” I want to know more. Filled with crisp, creative, enjoyable pop, the Apples in Stereo’s “New Magnetic Wonder” is a great listen. Frontman, producer, and creative force behind The Apples in Stereo, Robert Schneider does an excellent job on this album. His vocals are chirpy and wonderful and they perfectly accent the type of music his band plays. Not only is he good singing and playing, but the production work on this album is amazing. “New Magnetic Wonder” is one of the best sonically produced independent albums I have ever heard. To be honest, I don’t know a lot about this band. Everything I’ve read on them refers to music scenes, people, and places that I have never heard of. Every indication I have is that these guys are pretty independent and underground, and they like being that way. What I can tell you is “New Magnetic Wonder” is a great album and it’s definitely worth checking out. If you enjoy it half as much as I did, you’ll be hungry for more information on Robert Schneider and his band.
