New York three piece Vaeda despite an underlying obsession with Spiderman offer a competent if unspectacular foray into progressive modern rock territory. Combining elements of the Foo Fighters (‘Money’) with progressive modern hard rock (‘Jesus Rides the Subway’) and punk (‘Bite my Tongue’) , ‘State of Nature’-whilst lacking lasting tangible hooks- provides an ad equate if unessential listening experience.
