This e.p showcases the undoubted vocal talents of Brodie Stewart.
The onetime lead vocalist in Frank Hannons (Tesla) Moon Dog Mane was once described by George Lynch as having the voice of Paul Rodgers and the body of Sam Kinison(look that one up!), and due to the latter characteristic he was overlooked for several high profile jobs. Now in his late thirties and decidedly slimmer Stewart has his own band to provide the perfect vehicle for his voice. As the moniker describes, this is catchy as you like radio friendly modern rock. Produced expertly by Joey Moi, songs like the hooky hard edged ‘One Perfect Day’, ‘Fallin For You’ and the huge ballad ‘Sweet Isabel’ hint at a latter day Bad Company when their sound was more finely tuned to the American market. Although only an e.p this is well worth buying simply to hear one of the finest vocalists in rock music today.
