Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ third album shouldn’t just be considered a step in the right direction for RJA. It should be considered THE right direction for the band. “I Am the Enemy” was produced by Dave Feldman and the team up between Ronnie Winter and the rest of RJA with the producer is the perfect fit. One of Jumpsuit’s biggest influences is The Used; some of Feldman’s best production work was done with that group from Orem, Utah. It’s more or less something that just makes sense. And that’s really the most accurate way to describe the music that Jumpsuit has put out this time around… it just makes sense. There’s a ton of variety with programming on a few tracks, there’s a ballad here and there, and there are some very strong rockers. Out of the 11 songs on this record, all of them are solid and compare well to the songs on “Don’t You Fake It.” It’ll be hard to say about what does what from this album because who really knows in this industry right now. What I do know is that if you like Red Jumpsuit then you like this album. It's a great record front to back with great writing and stellar production too.
