Out of Australia, The Temper Trap is a group that you need to check out. They're kind of like Gnarls Barkley mixed with independent rock. The end result on "Conditions" is an awesome piece of music hat has several outstanding moments. “Conditions” is both innovative and unique… Whether that's on songs like "Sweet Disposition" and "Fader" or on the instrumental track at the end "Drum Song." Not only that, but they can write catchy songs that have great hooks. The main problem to point out with this album isn't anything to do with writing or recording.... the album doesn't play well from start to finish and there are a few times where the songs are consistent with each other. If you judge these guys on a whole album, they're just okay. But if you judge on potential and the few tracks that are outstanding on the album... they rock.
