Don't Kill The Magic
Isolate and Medicate
First appearing on an AWARE compilation nearly 3 years ago, Nashville rocker Will Hoge has paid his dues to get him and his band where they are today. Delivering one spell bounding hook after another, Hoge demonstrates his very own unique vocal style. The opening track "Not That Cool" presents a strong hook, and clever lyrics. The heartfelt "King Of Grey" is a nice piano ballad that showcases Hoge's vocal talent. Following that is the album's strongest track, their single "Second Hand Heart" which is destined to be a breakthrough radio hit. The album sticks to similar theme's of love lost and heartache, with a straight ahead sound. Traveling down the same roads as they did on their debut "Carousel", its safe to say this record isn't groundbreaking in anyway, but is certainly heartfelt.
