The Unlikely Candidates have released a new music video for the song "Howl" off of their latest EP Follow My Feet.
"Howl is our meditation on how the blinding power of love can lift you above the burdens of humanity," singer Kyle Morris said. "This is a cheeky video for it. If you are digging this, we will have more sauntering sing-alongs to debut in the upcoming months!"
The Unlikely Candidates came together in a very unique way. Singer Kyle Morris and guitarist Cole Male were booked on separate accounts of grand theft auto and ended up in a Ft. Worth juvenile detention center together when they were just 14. The two became fast friends and as their brush with the law came to an end, they decided to focus their energies elsewhere...music. Ten years and 3 additional band members later, the Fort Worth-based five-piece brings a refined indie sensibility to the raw energy of rock music.
The band has been on the road for the last year and is hitting the festival circuit this summer. They have recently played Bonnaroo, Firefly Music Festival and will wrap up their run with Riot Fest in September. While on the road The Unlikely Candidates are writing and recording new material that they plan to release early next year.
