Foo Fighters fronter Dave Grohl has announced that the band's latest album will be released in November. The LP currently has no title.

"I've pulled up the family tree of American music and explored its roots to find inspiration for the next Foo Fighters album," Grohl said in a statement.

The band also unveiled a trailer for their upcoming HBO special, Sonic Highways, which features them traveling to eight different cities and studios to record the new album. The trek took them to Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

In each episode, Grohl will tell the story of each studio with the help of interviews with KISS' Paul Stanley, Heart's Nancy Wilson, Joe Walsh from the Eagles and Dischord Records head Ian MacKaye.
