Pistol Day Parade has announced the band will tour as direct support to Ted Nugent.  The run begins in at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix on July 8, and will wrap on August 14 at the House of Blues in Houston.  The band will also stage performances in Sturgis, SD at this year's rally on August 6-8, alongside additional headline appearances which include July 4 & 5 at the Iron Coffin Rally in Erie, MI.

On touring with Ted Nugent Pistol Day Parade's guitarist Rob Banks shares, "When I was 8 years old my Uncle Kenny gave me my first guitar.  My dad turned me on to Nugent when I was 9, and I went to my First Whiplash Bash.  We went 10  years in a row until Ted stopped staging the event, but continued to attend everything Ted!  I attended the Ted Nugent camp for kids, with my zebra striped guitar in hand which I had Ted sign along with my bow.  To play my first major tour as direct support for Ted Nugent is fate at its best.  When asked in interviews about my idols, he stands alone at the top of that list.  I still have my zebra guitar, and it's coming with us on the road."  Looking towards the band's first visit to Sturgis, Banks offers, "I wanted to ride my '78 Kawasaki to Sturgis, but the guys said it looked funny with my guitar and amp strapped on my back with some chords dragging behind me.  I'm psyched to finally get to Sturgis.  When we're on stage, I get that same adrenaline rush as when you riding a Harley on a beautiful day with the bugs hitting your face."

Rising from the tough economic times of the Detroit area Pistol Day Parade is regarded as one of the top rising rock acts in the country.  Their debut EP, "She Wants More" recorded by Mike Brown (Velvet Revolver , Breaking Benjamin) has sold close to 10,000 physical copies and thousands more digitally. The song "Rockstar's Girlfriend," debuted at 38 on BILLBOARD's Active Rock charts, reaching #1 at the band's hometown rock radio station and format leader WRIF - Detroit.  The follow-up demo single "High" was a significant hit at Midwestern rock radio receiving massive airplay.  Fueled with this traction, the band has staged countless shows at Detroit’s famous Fillmore theater, exhibiting they are stars in the town they call home.  The band has also supported Stone Temple Pilots, Ice-T, Tesla and dozens of other established artists.

Pistol Day Parade is signed to Goomba Records, who released the band's full-length debut BURN in 2013.  The album was produced by Tim Patalan (Sponge, Lovedrug) at The Loft Studios in Saline, Michigan.  Rock format leader WRIF - Detroit took the lead single "Better" to #1 at the station, with the follow-up single "Not Today" peaking at number 2 on the station's playlist.
