Coldplay are streaming their sixth studio album Ghost Stories on iTunes one week ahead of its May 20 release date. In a recent interview with the BBC, fronter Chris Martin explained the idea behind the LP's title:

"The idea of ghost stories for me was: how do you let the things that happen to you, your ghosts, how do you let them affect your present and your future? Because there was a time when I was feeling like they were going to drag me down and ruin my life, and the lives of those around me."

Two days before LP's release, Coldplay will air a previously recorded concert on NBC. The footage is taken from an intimate performance which saw the band play Ghost Stories in its entirety, along with some fan favorites from previous albums.

Ghost Stories track list:

1. "Always In My Head" 2. "Magic" 3. "Ink" 4. "True Love" 5. "Midnight" 6. "Another's Arms" 7. "Oceans" 8. "A Sky Full Of Stars" 9. "O"
