Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello celebrated May Day, the international workers holiday, by making his Union Town EP, released in 2011, available for free.

The EP features acoustic originals plus covers, including Woody Guthrie's "This Land is Your Land," Merle Travis' "16 Tons," and a live version of Morello's own "Union Song."

Morello accompanied the release of Union Town with this message: "Here is my Union Town EP available for free download this May Day."

"This record is dedicated to working people of every nationality, age, color, and religion who have the courage to stand up for justice and dignity in the workplace . . . and beyond. Enjoy the tunes and fight the power! In Solidarity, Tom Morello."
