Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins will play on the new Sixx: A.M. album, according to Motley Crue bassist and Sixx: A.M. brainchild Nikki Sixx.

"Really excited Taylor Hawkins is gonna play on some of the new @SixxAm album. What a honor cause he is one of my favorite drummers," Sixx tweeted.

The band has released a pair of songs set to appear on the new untitled record via their Facebook, "Let It Haunt You" and "Relief." The upcoming album will be the band's third studio release, following 2007's The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack and 2011's This Is Gonna Hurt.

"I think SIXX: A.M. fans are going to love this record and I think new people will come in and be really surprised by it and become fans as well," Sixx told Revolver. "I don't think our first two records sound like the same type of record, but I do think there's a sound with the band and I think we're going to continue on that tradition."
