Night Terrors of 1927 has unveiled a wide-ranging slate of activity that extends through the summer and beyond.

Night Terrors of 1927 – that is, Blake Sennett (Rilo Kiley, The Elected) and Jarrod Gorbel (The Honorary Title) – is poised to travel North America as support to fellow Atlantic recording group Fitz & The Tantrums, with dates set to get underway on May 3rd at Kansas City’s Kansas City Power & Light District Outdoor Stage and then continuing through the month. Following that tour, the band has announced a series of West Coast dates supporting Magic Man.  Later in the year, the band has slated performances at such eagerly anticipated festivals as San Francisco’s Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival (August 8th-10th) and Austin, Texas’ ACL Music Festival (October 3rd-5th and 10th-12th).

Night Terrors of 1927 arrived last fall amidst a shroud of rare mystery. The band’s first released track “Watch The World Go Dark,” earned instant acclaim. Night Terrors of 1927 revealed themselves soon thereafter, tearing through two jam-packed showcases at New York City’s annual CMJ Music Marathon, followed by a series of West Coast live dates that included a residency at Los Angeles’ The Echo. Since then, the band has toured North America alongside The Colorist.

Night Terrors of 1927 is currently working on a full-length album, teaming with producers Andrew Dawson (Kanye West, fun.) and Ben H. Allen (Washed Out, Walk The Moon, Cut Copy) in addition to production from Sennett.  The as-yet-untitled collection is slated for release later this year.
