Dave Grohl To Guest On Taylor Hawkins's Side Project Release

Dave Grohl has signed on to make a guest appearance on the forthcoming album from the Birds of Satan, fronted by Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. The release is due April 14 and will feature Hawkins on both drums and piano.

Grohl will play guitar on one track from the release.

He joins fellow Foo guitarist Pat Smear on the guest list as well as Drew Hester and keyboard player Rami Jaffee. Hawkins is one third of the band's core lineup, flanked by Wiley Hodgden and Mick Murphy.
