AA Podcast 2014 Ep. #3

With the third episode of 2014 of the Alternative Addiction Podcast we don't have a guest host. That's right, you're stuck with me. Still, that doesn't mean we can't do something cool. On this third episode of the AA Podcast we celebrate some of the music out of Sweden.

As it turns out, the Swedes are making some pretty great music right now. We've got three different bands on the podcast with this edition.

Let us know if you have any ideas for another podcast in the comments section below.

It's cool that these guys have a name that sounds like a made-up swear that Chris Farley would use, but they actually get it from lead singer Daniel Kadwatha. They are a lot like No Sleep For Lucy but Daniel Kadwatha stretches himself vocally in their songs and that immediately sets them apart.

These guys are relatively new. There's not a lot of music out there, most of what you can find are SoundCloud streams. They incorporate some cool accents into their songs that make the verses just as entertaining as the chorus. Something you don't hear a lot in the world of pop rock.

No Sleep For Lucy

These guys have been featured on the unsigned section of AA before and they have a pop rock sound that's similar to Vertical Horizon and some of the other bands from the 2000's. Mix that with some good arena worthy rock and you've got a good idea of what No Sleep For Lucy is all about.
